Sumptuous room in a timeless classy hotel in a stunning location

I spent 3 or 4 nights here after over-nighting in Milan in October. Balkan Escapes had booked me into a suite with a gigantic bathroom, huge Jacuzzi, balcony overlooking the lake, large TV, HiFi, fridge, settee etc. All fixtures and fittings were of the highest quality in this beautifully appointed, carved wood, Tyrolean styled hotel. After checking out the surroundings, I opted for eating in the hotel restaurants. I was not disappointed, with high quality, well presented, copious dishes and drinks. The head waiter was also a fountain of knowledge and advice if I was slightly unsure what to select. The staff spoke English to a high standard and were friendly while remaining professional. Lake Molveno itself is beautiful as are the mountains surrounding which can be hiked or ascended via gondola. Definitely somewhere I would go again.

Great place for families !
Really nice hotel, a bit expensive but it’s worth the money... big suites, very comfortable for 2 adults and 3 kids.
The staff was very welcoming. Breakfast is basic but diner was perfect.

Hotel Du Lac was ideally situated and was in the perfect spot to access the lake, town and cable car for walking in the Dolomites. The staff where very helpful from the reception through to the restaurant. The hotel was clean, tidy and well appointed. After the first day of arrival we decided to eat in the restaurant for the evening meal, we enjoyed it so much we ate there for the next two evenings of our stay. Very good value for money. The weather was changeable whilst we were there but it did not spoil our stay, we are already planning a return trip.

We stayed at the Hotel Du Lac for 4 nights in a Junior Suite with Lake View. We cannot fault our stay, it was delightful. The staff were friendly and attentive. The view from our room was stunning and the beds were comfortable. Dinner was very good value and delicious. We'll be back!

Gorgeous balcony roomWe stayed in room 105 which was a lovely room with a very big balcony. The hotel was spotless with extremely friendly efficient staff. The breakfast was a buffet and as we'd learned to expect in the region. The setting of Molveno itself absolutely gorgeous. Steep hills to get into town. I think there is a tourist train service to take people from the lake to the town.

Professional and friendly personnel & management, room was comfortable with nice view on the lake (junior suite), excellent breakfast & dinner. Molveno is an ideal location for walking, cycling and running . The lake is no commercial exploited place, nature is highly regarded.
